we're palm to palm against the glass, my dearest
Killua… liked him. Liked him the way he was sure his father liked his mother, whoever she was. Liked him the way Palm liked Knov, the way the ladies who he took him on dates, who taught him to dance and cook and say sweet things told him a good girl would like him someday. He could see it, now, see Killua’s ears burn, hear Killua say Gon and see the way his eyes would swirl with a deeper, enigmatic blue. It’d taken him aback, at first. Killua was too close to him, too important for it to be true. They were friends. He’d never looked at Killua that way, never so much as considered Killua felt any different. How could he look at Killua any other way? When they reunited, he’d held him in his arms, crushed him in his chest and felt him tremble as he set a hand somewhere safe, at his shoulder, like a friend. And Killua never implied he wanted more, never got super close, never touched him in a way he hadn’t when they were kids-- chops to the back of the head, flicks to the nose, slaps

The Jisatsu Experiment: Chapters 1 and 2
Summary: Years after Conan leaves with no explanation and Haibara becomes a distant Miyano Shiho, Ayumi graduates and heads off to Himura University-- as far away from Tokyo as she can get. She finds it hard to leave Conan and Haibara behind her despite Mitsuhiko and Genta moving on, but the mystery she's about to take on is going to begin unraveling a past she'd repressed, and it's very possible she's bitten off more than she can chew. Just how deep does this case run? Shinichi may just have to step in, but can he and Shiho stomach the mess Ayumi has gotten herself into, or save her from herself? Things had changed over the years- not by a lot, not all at once, but little by little. The Detective Boys never disbanded, nobody moved, nobody died, but Ran got her own place after she graduated. Kogoro's detective agency grew, and he had a few interns here and there that ran their time and carried on like clockwork. Eri had moved back in, though the two weren't sleeping in the same bed
"I'm tellin' ya, you'd be one heck of a Kid's Next Door operative!"
"I'd be one heck of something, alright." Jodie sighed and stared at her mother, who blinked back and shook her head slowly- back and forth. She hated it when she did that.
"You know, they could really use somebody like you."
"It'd be too easy." She shrugged her shoulders and pulled her book-bag onto her shoulder, some of her raven-colored hair getting stuck in the strap. She could care less, though. "Everybody knows you. You were freaking Numbuh Five, Mom! Do you know how easy it would be for me to move up in the ranks with that kinda rep?"
"I know, I know."
"And then Da
So mad, so fierce
So irritable, so excitable.
They hear the cries, but they are deaf to the meaning of the words spoken.
We know it is wrong,
and we are not the only ones.
We stand together we voice our concerns.
So many scattered voices can be perceived as unimportant mumbles,
a concert can be viewed as a message.
They pushed us and we pulled back- they were too fixated on the numbers.
But now they have pushed too many of the wrong buttons, and we draw our swords to prepare for battle.
We will make them see,
and for once we will get what we want.
This is where we stand.
They will know we are the fans.
Kid Flash blinked once, and then blinked again.
Almost the entire room was gone, save for the corners of the room and what used to be in between those corners. The bed was gone, the decorations that surrounded it scattered across the floor like leafs in the fall. The more fragile beautifications, which was Raven's primary choice in the make-up of her personal woman-cave, were split in half or broken into so many pieces they were beyond repair.
"I'll go check to see if they're somewhere in the city, still." Cyborg's fading voice landed on dead ears.
Beast Boy slowly approached Robin, his feet scraping against what used to be Raven's floor i
Lucy fell to the floor, covering her sobs in her hands, her tears pouring out and lashing at the grime around her. She soon felt Adriade's presence as he bent down next to her, shivering in woe as he wrapped an arm around her shoulder. Kasumi shifted her entire body, taking quickly paced steps away from the scene, the back of her hand to her forehead as she did her best to hold back the tears that were imposing on her eyes. Yamato himself closed his eyes, Mary's back fighting its way under his arm- a battle in which it won. Her blonde hair rested against his chest. She shook and shook, biting both of her lips. She had brought this upon them a
Note to a friend of mine: I know, I know I lied and said this would be up earlier in the week but I couldn't seem to find the time to write it, and when I did have the time I had a MASSIVE headache. D: Forgive me! DX
I thought that we could all use another humor-filled Kibō Clan one-shot, since this will be MAINLY what the series is, so I wrote one. Forgive me if the writing in this one is not at its best. I'm still suffering from a minor headache but I felt I should get this up. ^^'
I suppose I should leave this note in every one-shot from now on
Before you read this, you should read my one-shots "Mama", "Kaze Hikari", an
A new one-shot based on the Kibō Clan will be up soon so I figured I may as well write about another one of my favorite couples. ^^'
I searched and I was very unhappy to find there wasn't a single KokoroxElliot piece on here! D:< Well, I still have much left to do. 8I Yes. I just quoted Ryu Hayabusa. Got a problem with that? XD
Anyways, enjoy the story. :)
Kokoro smiled sweetly, with a little more than a hint of dejection hidden behind the soft curls of her pink lips. Oh, her mother was right; this was no place for her. Only the strongest of the strong were here at the DOA tournament.
One little mishap and she was ready to throw her
Alright, so I got a review for "The Kibō Clan" and was asked to write more of them- and how could I refuse when I have so MUCH FUN writing these characters?! X3 this is a sequel to "Mama"- which I suggest you go read now before this if you haven't already. This will make a crap ton more sense if you do. In fact, there's "The Kibō Clan", "Kaze Hikari", and "Mama" all about the characters in this story and Kasumi's reactions to them. I highly suggest you go and read them if only to make all of this make WAY MORE SENSE. LMAO! XD
I am a RyuxKasumi shipper and you see some evidence of that at the end of this chapter. Please, read on and
